【FAQ】UE Unable Accessing Wi-Fi Network

In this architecture, the authentication process is triggered by user initiates an internet surf, HTTP protocol is intercepted by WLC to replace its destination URL with the Portal Web URL or IP address for UE accessing redirection by 302 message. Therefore, if user initiates the internet surf by HTTPS, WLC can’t parse the destination URL in this protocol due to its security and encryption, so the Portal web page can’t be pushed to user endpoint for redirection. Try to surf by HPPT instead of HTTPS before authentication is completed.
