[Hsinchu, Taiwan – May 2, 2025]

Z-COM, a leading brand in smart wireless communications and AIoT, will participate in the AI Next Forum, a preview event for COMPUTEX 2025, on May 6 at the Platinum Hall, 3F, Hantai Hotel, Nangang, Taipei. At the forum entrance, Z-COM will showcase its latest Edge AI computing platform and forward-looking vision for Pre-6G Smart Energy Management System (EMS), demonstrating its innovative capabilities in integrating advanced communications and green energy technologies.

Building on its achievements from the Ministry of Transportation and Communication’s 5G vertical application project and the Ministry of Economic Affairs’ Pre-6G heterogeneous network integration project—in applications such as smart rail systems and disaster monitoring—Z-COM will share its development roadmap for a next-generation EMS. This system aims to incorporate Pre-6G heterogeneous communications, AI-driven energy prediction, and adaptive control technologies to create a resilient and intelligent energy management framework equipped with sensing, learning, and self-healing capabilities.

zMEC: On-Site AI Computing Core

Z-COM’s self-developed zMEC platform supports AI inference, real-time data processing, and robust cybersecurity. Already deployed in transportation, manufacturing, and smart city sectors, zMEC enables containerized deployments and multi-protocol integration—bringing AI closer to the edge, enabling faster and safer decision-making.

SP250-A04 Smart Access Point: Generative AI for Energy Fields

Certified with the DNP3.0 protocol, SP250-A04 is ideal for solar energy fields and energy system integration. With its built-in generative AI, it processes and filters sensor data directly at the edge, minimizing latency and offloading data centers.

AG260 5G Edge Gateway: AI Communication Hub for Rail Systems

Field-tested in the Tamhai Light Rail Driver Assistance System, AG260 is designed for high-mobility applications such as railway and industrial systems. It combines 5G NR, Wi-Fi 6, and on-device AI to provide real-time analytics and seamless network integration at the edge.

EMS Development Blueprint: Toward Smart, Sustainable Energy Autonomy

Z-COM’s upcoming EMS will integrate Pre-6G heterogeneous networks and AI algorithms to serve remote areas, industrial parks, and disaster-prone zones. With distributed control, fault tolerance, and renewable energy scheduling, the system will enable resilient energy networks powered by AI for sustainable, autonomous energy management.

From Smart Mobility to Sustainable Energy: A Tech-Driven Sustainability Vision

With solid experience in AI-powered light rail driving assistance and 5G-based slope monitoring, Z-COM is extending its expertise into the energy domain—leveraging AI and network integration to contribute to net-zero and sustainability goals.

Edge AI × Pre-6G Networks × Sustainable Energy

Headquartered in Hsinchu, Taiwan, Z-COM is dedicated to the fusion of AIoT and next-generation wireless communication technologies. Through its participation in the AI Next Forum, Z-COM not only showcases its current AI innovations but also lays out its vision for future-ready energy and resilient infrastructure—injecting sustainable momentum into the AI Next era.
